Welcome to Canadian Rockies & Alaska Cruise Tour!!!

Assemble at Kolkata, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Int’l Airport, New Terminal Building, 3 hours before departure of the flight and after entering through Gate No: 4A or 5A wait at the departure hall. After gathering of all passengers, the accompanying Tour Director will give some important briefing about the tour and then to complete security check of checked-in baggage(s) at the respective airlines’ x-ray machine and get security checked striker on your baggage and then proceed to complete check-in formalities. After completion of check-in formalities and getting the boarding pass (Please check that the checked-in baggage should be tagged till final destination – Vancouver (VAN) and then proceed to complete immigration formalities, pass through customs area and to complete hand baggage and physical security check. After proceed towards the boarding gate and wait for boarding announcement.

After boarding the flight leave Kolkata for Vancouver via Hong Kong by CX-5169 AT 0115 hrs. After take-off refreshment will be served on board. On arrival at Hong Kong Int’l Airport, after completing the required security formalities wait at departure area till boarding announcement. After boarding announcement proceed for boarding gate for boarding the flight for Vancouver. Leave Hong Kong by Cathay Pacific CX- 838 at 16:20 hrs for Vancouver. Lunch not included. After take-off of the flight hot dinner, breakfast and lunch will be served on board. On arrival at 1325 hrs on the someday at Vancouver Int’l Airport, proceed towards Immigration Counter to complete formalities and after pick-up the checked-in baggage from the carrousel and pass through customs green channel if you nothing to declare. Our representative will meet, greet after the customs area at the arrival hall and then transfer to hotel in Vancouver. On arrival at hotel, to complete check-in formalities and after freshen-up welcome dinner at local restaurant.

Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check-out the hotel and leave Vancouver drive for Kamloops for the adventurous lifetime journey of the Canadian Rockies.  The Canadian Rockies Mountain range spans the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. With jagged, ice-capped peaks, including 3,954m elevation and highest point is Mt. Robson; it’s a region of dramatic wilderness, alpine lakes, diverse wildlife and many outdoor recreation sites. National Parks include Yoho, home to Takkakaw Waterfall, dropping a sheer 302m, Jasper, famed for its Athabasca Glacier and Banff, site of glacier-fed Lake Louise.

The Canadian Rockies comprise of the Canadian segment of the North America Rocky Mountains range. We head towards Kamloops – a city in south central British Columbia,  at the confluence of the two branches of the Thompson River and near Kamloops Lake. It is almost a 6 hrs drive with a lot of scenic photo stops. On arrival we will check in to the hotel, in the evening proceed for dinner to be followed by transfer back hotel.

After breakfast we leave for Jasper – Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies. The park includes the glaciers of the Columbia Ice field hot spring lakes, waterfalls and mountains, Wildlife in the park includes elk, caribou, moose, mule deer, white-tailed deer, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, grizzly beer, black beer, beaver, rocky Mountain pika, hoary marmot, grey walf, mountain lion, and wolverine. This area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 for the mountain landscapes containing mountain peaks. We will drive through yellow Head Highway and will take approx 6:30 hrs. to reach Jasper. We take a stop at the Scenic Rocky Mountains. On arrival we proceed for Dinner before check in at the hotel.

Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest national park, established in 1885 in the Rocky Mountains. The park, located west of Calgary in the province of Alberta, encompasses 6,641 km (2,564 sq mi) of mountainous terrain with numerous glaclers and Ice fields, and alpine landscapes. The Icefield Parkway extends from Lake Louise, National Park in the north. Provincial forests and yoho National Park are neighbours to the west, white kootenay National Park is located to the south and Kananaskis Country to the southeast. The main commercial centre of the park is the town of Banff, in the Bow River valley. After breakfast we leave for Banff National Park Columbia Ice fields – Canada’s first national park- 3 ½ hrs drive east from Jasper, Alberta, Canada, from Banft’s humble beginnings as a 26 squre km hot spring reseve, Banff National Park now consists of unparalleled mountain scenery nestled in in the herart of ec on the way, if situation permits. We will visit a brand new attraction of Canada-Glacier Skywalk, which is drawing visitors into Jasper.  Welcome to the all-new Glacier Skywalk in the heart of the Canadian Rockies!

After breakfast we explore the awesome Lake Louise…the scenic paradise on earth .The best thing about driving to Banff is that the journey is in itself a vacation .Before you even reach hotel ,you will have seen some of the most naturally views in the world. The temptation to stop the coach and get out for a walk sometimes is just too great.

Rated one of the world’s great scenic highways by National Geographic, The lce field parkway is a journey through expensive mountain wilderness, ancient glaciers, sweeping valley and mountain  lakes. At six kilometers long and one kilometer wide, the impressive Athabasca Glacier descends dramatically from the 325-square-kilometre Columbia ice field. An while the ice field is mostly out of sight, the Athabasca Glacier can be easily viewed and accessed right from the ice fields Parkway !

We’ll later drive to explore the world the famous Columbia Ice Field Glacier Explorer. Columbia ice field Glacier Adventure Gives you the chance to see one of these wonders of nature up close. The 80-Minute journeys run April through October, and bring you right up onto the glacier with the help of an experienced driver-guide. You’ll be fascinated to learn all about glaciers and ice fields and their impact on our alpine environment. Halfway through the tour you can step out onto the glacier with your own two feet and take in the awesome expanse of ice around you.

We’ll try to make some popular stops including Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake and peyto Lake .This road heads north from Lake Louise towards the Columbia ice field, where you can hop on the ice Explorer and  venture out onto the Athabasca Glacier. Driver Back to Banff and followed by dinner.

After relaxed breakfast, we take a long scenic driver back to Vancouver .We will board the fascinating Alaska Cruise at the colorful port of Vancouver – a coastal seaport city on the mainland of British Columbia, Canada . After all the pier formalities, we board the massive cruise liner of Holland America which is scheduled to sail at 4 PM from the pier of Vancouver. Sail from Vancouver, glide under the Lion’s Gate Bridge, and Enter the Scenic Wonders of the Inside Passage.
